Levy Tran is the girl next door – assuming that girl is tattooed and trained in martial arts.

Born and raised in San Jose, California and the daughter of two Vietnamese immigrants, she was working at a funeral home as an embalmer in 2011 when she was approached by a friend to model in a photoshoot for a clothing company. Immediately upon their release, photos from the shoot went viral on social media platforms, launching Levy into a new career – and a new existence – as one of the most well-known Asian models.

Following a move to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue modeling, Levy took on a variety of print and television projects, which included hosting one season of MTV2’s Guy Code and an appearance on Live with Kato Kaelin. She was then offered representation by an agent and manager a short two years into her stay, and has since left modeling behind to commit to acting at full-force.

In a span of less than three years, Levy has worked with a myriad of renowned and notable directors and actors. Among these are Jared Leto, James Wan, Beyonce, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Gavin Rossdale, Lance Henriksen, Issa Rae, and John Cho. She has also appeared on national commercials for companies such as Applebee’s, Apple, Honda, Budweiser, Pantene Pro-V, Samsung, Taco Bell, and Enterprise.

Though still a fresh face in the acting world, Levy has garnered a substantial social media audience. Between YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, she boasts a following of over 250k. She is currently studying martial arts and undergoing weapons training in the hopes of adding more action films to her future projects.
